I was having an intermittent no-start issue and erroneously arrived at the distributor as the culprit. Pulled my OEM distributor to throw in a new coil and ICM and some of the original screws broke off in the housing. Needed a temporary replacement and ordered this. Installed, adjusted timing and everything has been great since. Will eventually break down the OEM distributor and replace those but this particular product hasn't given me a reason to do that yet. Works great.

Had some throttle issues and hard start or no start issues. Replaced this in 15 minutes and runs great!! Can’t beat free returns if it didn’t work.

My 97 Civic’s distributor began throwing a P1381 code for a bad cylinder position sensor. This is caused by a faulty magnetic sensor inside my distributor.Sadly, I wasn’t able to find anywhere selling just the sensors and harness. So, that’s where this very cheap distributor comes in.All of its components seem very cheap. I ended up gutting this new distributor and installing as many of the parts from my own distributor into it, such as the igniter, the coil, the cap and rotor, and also the little part at the back of the distributor that interfaces with the cam.So all I’m really using from this product are the housing, sensors and harness, and the bearing and oil seal that the housing has.I’m glad to say that the cylinder position code is cleared and it’s been fine for about 2 weeks. I’ll report back if anything breaks. If you need an igniter, buy an igniter. If you need a coil, buy a coil. I would recommend avoiding this product unless you know what you’re doing, but it’s worked so far for my purposes.

Very easy to install. My car kept throwing a code for the crank position sensor, replace the sensor but after a month or so it would not start and was throwing the same code. Checked for spark and had none, found the inside of the old distributor was all rusted up. Installed this distributor in about 10 minutes and car has been running the it ever has since I’ve owned it.

Literally broke within a month while I was driving. Car suddenly stalled in the middle of town, got it towed back to my house, did a diagnosis run through, and found I had no spark. I had replaced the spark wires, and plugs and assuming the distributor was new, I checked it last. Should've known from a sketchy brand like this.

It is the best distributor for the money out there, my car had an unfixable missfire and wont show the code, i replaced injextors, spark plugs, intake sensors and valves and stillnhad the missfire including the cap and rotor from the old dist and still failing. Got this one and fixed. Get it. Its the best

When I priced a rotor, coil, and cap the price was close to the cost of this full assembly. This installed in less than 30 minutes and the car was running again.

This went on a 1998 Civic GX with the high compression D16B5. Because of the less volatile nature of CNG compared to Gasoline the ignition system needs to be perfect and mine was misfiring. The factory distributor was broken by the previous owner as one of the bolts that held the cap on was stuck in the housing so I could not use it, gasoline spark plugs were also used which is a no go in CNG. There a plenty of civics in my local junkyard but none of them had a factory TEC distributor as they were all taken. Prices for the china dizzy vary around, from 200+ at local part stores to $59 here. I was extremely skeptical of this one but it works excellent, three bolts, a quick hit with the timing light and she is running perfectly.
