I recently ordered this wooden yarn bowl as I’m learning to crochet, and it has been such a helpful addition to my crafting setup! I do really like the rustic design of this bowl and it is a good size for small skeins of yarn. The only issue I noticed is that the space where the yarn passes thru has a lot of rough edges and will snag a more delicate yarn, like the one I used in the picture. So that being said, I gave it less stars, but I will smooth the edges and it will be perfect. If you are giving this as a gift, check for rough edges before you give it. I think for the price is fine, for the quality, but I have never had a yarn bowl before. I think its very pretty though!

Excellent wood is so beautiful, unique wood grain and 2 tone (Whitewash) my yarn does not snag, glides nicely.

I bought this for my mother in law for Christmas and she loved it. It’s beautiful but smaller than I originally thought it would be. She had a scan of yarn with her and showed me that it fit perfectly in the bowl and worked well as she pulled the yarn through. I hurried and bought of second one for my son’s girlfriend.
