I'm very happy with this crochet bag! I selected the purple heather bag, which is made of a durable woven material on the outside and a smooth, nice quality material on the inside. The bag is nicely appointed with purple heather fabric exterior and complementary gray interior, strap, and zippers. It is cute and fun to take with on the go. The bag is well-made, and it is very spacious. The zippers feel sturdy, and the adjustable strap can be made long enough to wear the bag crossbody or short enough to put over one's shoulder. The interior of the bag has a generous-sized pocket along each side of the length of the bag. Each pocket can easily hold three rolls/smaller skeins of yarn, while utilizing the optional grommet holes to thread the yarn through. Otherwise, these pockets can just act as organized yarn storage. Even with yarn in the side pocket, there is still a large amount of space in the main part of the bag. I was able to fit three small rolls of yarn on one side, along with my entire project in the main part of the bag. In addition to the large interior main compartment, this bag also has a large front side pocket that spans the length of the bag. I was able to fit my crochet kit with all sizes of hooks, scissors, etc. in the front side pocket, while carrying my project and yarn in the main compartment. (Pic#1) I was easily able to transport my project with me to an appointment, and I didn't have to worry about losing anything, snagging my project, or taking things in plastic bags as I have done before. There is another pocket on the back side of the bag, which also spans the length of the bag, but it is only held shut by a piece of Velcro. I can see myself using this pocket perhaps once I'm at my destination, if I wanted to put my cell phone in there for easy access. Additionally, it would be a good place to keep paper copies of a pattern. I am very happy with this bag, and I highly recommend it to others.

How about this bag specifically for crafts however because it had the openings at the top where you could run yarn through it I thought that I would use it for crocheting as well. However I don't think that it is something that I would use for crocheting because the yarn I'm working with is generally in larger spools than what is shown in the picture. Plus I'm not constantly working on multiple projects at one time. I do like the idea of being able to have your yarn come out of the holes because constantly your yarn if it's in a ball is rolling off someplace or it's getting knotted up when you keep it in it s original state. They're also little velcro tabs across the top of the bag that help keep the yarn secure when not in use.The bag is very large, about the size of a large lunch bag, which gives me another idea of what I could be used for. The opening at the top Zips all the way across the top and then there is a front pocket that also has a zipper and an open Velcro pouch on the back. I'm actually using this for needlepoint as that is the craft that I'm currently working on. The bag is great for on the go everything that I need will fit inside of the bag. There's an adjustable strap for easy. The back is well made and I feel good about being able to carry all of the things that I would need rather I am cross stitching, needlepoint, punch needling or crocheting. The bag is very flexible and versatile and I think that it could be used for a number of different crafts.The material on the bag seems like it would be water repellent and easy to clean. This is definitely a bag that would stand up to time. If you're looking for portable storage for your craft projects I think this is what you're looking for and you won't be disappointed. I rate this at 10.

Lovely bag for your fiber crafting needs. The grommets and velcro tabs to seperate your yarn are fantastic. They can accommodate a wide variety of yarn widths. Plenty of pockets for knitting needles and crochet hooks as well as space for stich markers, tape measures, scisdors and patterns. Live the shoulder strap. Perfect if you want to do some knitting or crocheting while taking walk. I think this bag has everything you need.

The bag has been great for carrying my miscellaneous crocheting supplies along with my current project! It comes with two inside zipper pockets, one outside zipper pocket, and a side velcro pocket. If you want, you can feed the yarn through holes on the top, which can be helpful if you're working on the go and/or if you have multiple colors going. The bag is large enough to hold everything needed while also being collapsible enough to be portable. I wish there were smaller side handles to help carry the bag rather than just the shoulder strap, and while the material is probably water-repellent, it doesn't feel like the best quality. I also wish there were even more pockets.
