Your cart is empty.For use on Yamaha Banshee and Blaster models. Used to install a standard Mikuni idle adjuster into the carburetor body. Idle adjuster is necessary if carburetor top has been replaced with a standard Mikuni cap. Kit includes a drill bit (#6), thread tap (6 millimeter x .75 millimeter), 2 idle screws with lock nuts and instructions. Drill press or mill should be used to drill holes in the carburetor bodies.

There’s nothing wrong with the kit itself and the instructions are very clear but the drill bit they provide is really crappy so you will want a better one

Product worked perfectly. Took approx 30 min. Take your time to drill and tap the hole. Make sure to lube the tap as you cut. I prefer to make 1-2 turns then back it out 1-2 turns. Removing every 4 turns to clean out debris.

Installed in both carbs in less than an hour (I’m obsessive about cleaning and sanding). Make sure when you drill (slowly) you fill the slide area with a piece of wood or rubber to stop any marring of the throat. Also use a thread locker (blue) or Permatex aircraft sealant (what I used) to ensure the threads are sealed and the screw doesn’t rely on the nut alone. I didn’t file much in order to achieve the idle I wanted so make sure your tapped hole is flat and only take a 1/16 or so off. I also used my shop vac to suck out the shavings from the top as I drilled.

Was a bit worried when I purchased it because some of the reviews did the drill bit and tap didn't work together (wrong size) but I have all that stuff at home anyways. But it all worked great

It works and is as you'd expect. Comes with directions and decals. Don't be afraid of drilling into your carburetors, they make new parts every day. Just don't rush it, you'll be fine. I would buy again if I ever buy another Banshee that needs a TORS delete.
