Motion Sensor Switch with Manual On/Off, Single Pole (Occupancy,Vacancy,Manual) Sensor Motion Activated Wall Switch, Operable Without Ground Wire, No Neutral Required, PC Fireproof, UL ListedWhen at work, I park inside the garage at our commercial building. The space has room to park several vehicles and includes a loading dock. The room is lit by seven overhead light fixtures on the ceiling. Each has 4 T10 bulbs that are powered by an electronic ballast. I recently replaced the florescent T10 bulbs with LED lamps that also work with the same electronic ballast. The total LED wattage of all seven fixtures is now at about 384 watts and they are turned on by an occupancy sensor/switch mounted on the wall by where I park my car.The old occupancy switch recently failed in permanent on state. In looking for a replacement, I found there were many variables with the specifications. My first switch was only rated at 2.0 amps. I installed it in ignorance and it seemed to work but I was concerned that it would not last and could become a fire hazard.2.0 amps at 120 volts is only 240 watts so that switch was definitely not strong enough for the job. There are stronger switches available in 5.0 amp or 10.0 amp versions, but they are a lot more expensive. 5.0 amps is 600 watts but when reading many of the spec sheets for 5.0 amp switches, I found that many were rated much lower when used with LED bulb loads. So I was lucky when I found this RAYZEEK 5.0 amp switch on Amazon. The important details on this switch were in the Amazon ad. UL & FCC listed, 120VAC, 50/60Hz, Resistive/Standard Ballast/Electronic Ballast/Tungsten/LED: 5.0A, Motor 1/6HP. For Control of Electronic Ballast, CFLs, LED, and LED Lamps. It was easy to connect, program, and test. But then I found another problem. The aluminum mounting plate was too tall to fit inside my metal enclosure. I guess it was designed to be mounted in the more common plastic boxes found in many modern homes. My easy fix was to trim it down with some tin snips. It now fits perfectly and does the job it was designed for. Hopefully it lasts for a long, long time.

The **Rayzeek RZ020 Motion Sensor Light Switch** is an excellent upgrade for your home automation needs. It’s incredibly **versatile**, offering three sensor modes: **Occupancy Sensor** (auto on & off), **Vacancy Sensor** (manual on & off), and **manual ON/OFF**. This allows you to tailor the switch to different spaces and lighting preferences, making it ideal for everything from **warehouse aisles** to **laundry rooms**.One of the standout features is how easy it is to **set**. There's no need to remove the wallplate to adjust the settings—just press a button to fine-tune the **time delay** (from 15 seconds to 30 minutes) or **ambient light sensor** (from 15Lux to 35Lux). This **quick and accurate setting** makes installation a breeze. The **specifications** are solid too: it’s **UL & FCC listed**, works with **LED lights**, **CFLs**, and **standard ballasts**, and can handle up to **5.0A** of current, which is more than enough for most household uses. Just be sure your lights are at least 3W to avoid flickering. If you're upgrading an old home, this is the perfect solution. The **no neutral or ground wire** requirement means it works in older homes with just **load** and **hot** wires. This **motion sensor switch** is a great fit for places like **businesses**, **offices**, **basements**, or **garages** where convenience and energy efficiency are key.A small note: it **doesn’t work with dimmable bulbs** or fixtures with controllers, but for everything else, it's a great addition. With a **1-year warranty** and a simple installation, the **Rayzeek RZ020** is a must-have for anyone looking to upgrade their lighting system.

Installed this in the kitchen to control the main/bright overhead lighting. The install was very quick and easy with clear directions. Including finding the live wire (builders used one color for all wires, lol) and running to the basement twice to the breaker box the install took maybe 5 minutes. My comments below are based on around 2 weeks of use in a busy room. The switch senses me and turns the light on very quickly. I still forget this is installed at times; when coming from behind and left of this switch it always activates faster than if I was to reach up and hit the switch manually, which when first installed I was still doing pretty frequently. The room presence sensor has turned off the lights on me perhaps 5 times when I was still in the room, but I had not moved at all, and I had lowered the timeout to 15 seconds. Once I increased the timeout to 1 minute the switch never left me in the dark again.Adjusting the light settings is fairly easy. The small button used to toggle auto on or manual switch is a little small and hard to hit with short man-nails, but I've only needed to use it once in two weeks. This is also not a setting I'd want changing due to accidental button pressing so I suppose I have 0 complaints with this item. Great product, highly recommended.
