Works great. If you are new to small engines, don't worry. Adjusting your mixture screw will be necessary. Mine ran smooth after a half turn counter clockwise but every carb will be different. Cut the ends of the fuel tubing at a slant so you can push them into the fuel tank and lubricant them with something like WD40 so they push easier. Also, check your exhaust muffler tube for blockage. They get plugged easily and a new carb won't help with that.

Bought several variations for my older lawn equipment. Researched the correct replacement unit for each application (e.g. Homelite vac, Husqvarna trimmer, Ryobi trimmer). Product packed and shipped well. I disassembled my equipment (cleaned air filter, tanks & mating surfaces) and installed new parts (gas lines, filter, primer, gasket & carb). After priming, equipment started right up. Also separately bought an inexpensive set of carb adjustment screwdrivers (helped to adjust one unit to optimal idle/run).

As I was unboxing the carburetor it fell and the little red choke lever broke off. Now I have to use a pair of pliers to adjust. I was surprised it didn't survive a 3 ft fall.

I actually bought this to replace a different model Walbro carb on my Tanaka TGC31EPBS brush cutter that originally had a WYC-9 on it. This carb fit perfectly, and only needed a minor modification to the throttle cable to complete the installation. Now my Tanaka runs as good as new, I ran it all weekend without a single hiccup. Highly recommended!!!

Works great. I also slotted the mixture screw with a Dremel slotting disk as state in another review. When I first installed this new carb it didn't fix the problem. After combing over the blower I noticed that the carb and air cleaner assembly could be moved left and right. As it turns out the whole cylinder was loose on the crankcase. After tightening the 3 torx screws on the crankcase it worked perfectly. The carburetor uses the the change in crankcase pressure to pump fuel into the carb. If there is a air leak in the crankcase it wont pump fuel.On my blower there was oil all over the fuel tank. This is a clue that there is a crankcase leak.I hope this help you avoid any unnecessary blister on your fingers.

Outstanding replacement carburetor!! Actually better made than the original, which had a bunch of plastic on it.This thing is really well made and for perfectly, total rebuild of the blower!I'm pretty handy, and it took me about 39 minutes to get it all installed. Glad for the new hoses, sparkplug, gasket!Couple of fyis>It comes with a fitting for the gas tank, but in mine the hoses just run straight through the plastic table wall, So I just left these, hard to get the hoses through.>take pictures of your blower and the carb, where the hoses go, so you don't get them mixed up and do you know the orientation of the carb!!!! - make sure you keep track of which hose goes on which fitting on the priming bulb, it only works in one direction!!!>On my old carb, the throttle cable had a special little hook fitting welded on the end of the wire. This new carb just has a hole with a clamping screw . You will have to cut off the old fitting, do it gently and sharply to not fray the end and it will fit through they hole fine. Leaves the cable a tad short so your blower may idle a little high. When I got it all together, primed it, started right up!But when I have it the gas, it slowed down, then died.Sounded like it was starving for either air or gas. Took off the filter, no blockage. Started it again, same problem, but I could make it work ok by blocking the air intake, so obviously not getting enough gas for the air.So, what to do. Looked on line and found a guy that explained it. On the side of the carb there is a little black button looking thing with a tiny hole in it. Todd is the had flow adjustment screw, but you need s special tool to adjust it. He used his Dremel and a cut off disk and ground a slot in the screw ( and a little of the body)And bingo, you can adjust itI turned it out 1.5 turns worked great!! Tried a little more and killed it, so 1.5 it is. Yours may need -1.5 or whatever, but you can play with it, should be ok.My old carb didn't even have this adjuster!Nice for an older machine as thing wear, need adjustment. Now, Mine Works like a new machine!!Idles a little high but I don't really care. I can buy a lot of gas for the over $100 I saved doing this. You need to be handy and have basic tools, or a friend Who does and is. ;0) But it was fun to do, all the parts for as near perfect as you can get and are well made!!!Very happy so far with this tiny investment!!
