What are the advantages of the RTR version?

This product is RTR version, all the core parameters (e.g. throttle curve, brake sensitivity, etc.) have been pre-tuned, it can be used directly out of the box without complicated settings.
If I need to adjust a parameter, does it support customised settings?

Yes! Although the default parameters have been optimised to the best, you can still make fine adjustments with the matching hobbywing device. We provide a detailed parameter adjustment guide to ensure easy operation even for novices.

First the package arrived without the side plates. Then it got worse. Poorly designed, and takes modifications to get it to fit. The servo arm as installed hits the driveshaft. I had to make spacers to raise the servo a small amount. I then realized the output shaft is too short. If you can manage to wedge the bolt connecting the driveshafts to the output shaft it will not go all the way in and locks up the driveshaft against the transmission case. On both the front and the rear. I'm going to have to carefully sand down the transmission casing and driveshafts to get it to fit. I tried both stock shafts and Injorra stainless shafts. Then I tried to bolt the transmission to the skid plate. The skid plate hits the shift linkage and binds it up. So I have more tinkering to do now to work around that. And I haven't even been able to test out the transmission yet.
