This moto headset works well. The volume is decent in the helmet and the microphone works about as well as can be expected. If you're riding over 50 mi per hour, you're really not going to be able to access your google assistant about half the time, but that likely won't necessary a lot. The set up could be a little more intuitive. I've been riding for 24 yrs and have had more expensive brands of these headsets that are just plain easier to set up. It seems pretty durable and it's light, so it's not intrusive on your helmet.Other than that, for the price, you could do a lot worse. I think the value is there, but if you want something that works more consistently spend the extra money.

The D3X Helmet Communication System is a solid, budget-friendly Bluetooth headset designed for motorcycle and skiing enthusiasts. With a 300-meter intercom range, it allows clear, two-way communication between two riders, making it ideal for close-group riding. The system features Bluetooth 5.4 connectivity, noise cancellation, and IP56 water resistance, ensuring decent performance even in noisy or slightly wet environments. It includes both soft and hard microphones, making it compatible with a wide range of helmet types. The audio quality is crisp for both calls and music, though it may not rival premium brands in terms of bass or range. Installation is straightforward, and the buttons are glove-friendly. While the intercom range is limited for long-distance rides, it’s a great value pick for casual riders looking for a reliable and easy-to-use communication system.

So I’m still trying to find a nice Bluetooth headset that allows me to finally hear my music without turning it all the way up to full. This one does a fair job however it’s still on the low side. It’s nice. Is it simple impractical and I think one company makes them all. My phone found it very easily as soon as I turned it on with the Bluetooth. Everything snaps into my helmet rather easily as all the pads are removable and the wires are long enough for a 59 to 61 extra large helmet. It looks nice and there’s a lot of springy on the clip. I give it four cause it still won’t get loud enough.

I recently added a new modular helmet and knew I would need to be able to answer the phone, listen to directions and hear some satellite radio. These hooked up via Bluetooth very quickly though I'm not sure I ever saw what to look for in the instructions as it relates to the name of the device. I just saw one on my phone I didn't recognize and that was that. The instructions are difficult to read as the type is small and they will be going with me as the buttons have no conformity from brand to brand or model to model. Learning a new comm system is always a bit frustrating. But I did get it paired, the sound is good, the two mics as options for a different helmet are helpful and the clip-on mounting is always preferred over 3M tape in my book. A nice price at $38.

Got this for my wife when she rides on the back of the bike. Not sure how this works with intercom as I was unable to pair it with my current Cardo intercom I have, because it doesn’t have a universal pairing channel evidently. But as far as pairing with the phone and playing music for her it worked well. Sound quality was ok for her and it worked well for calls. It’s well worth the expense as the name brands Cardo and Sena are ridiculously overpriced. I don’t really want to buy a second one just to be able to be able to use the intercom feature, but I imagine if you bought two they would pair automatically, at least that’s what the instructions indicate. Sucks that they can’t talk to Cardo, but oh well.

The speaker volume and sound quality aren’t amazing—don’t expect super rich bass or anything—but it gets the job done, especially considering the price. You can hear music and directions clearly enough at regular speeds, though it struggles a bit when you’re really cruising.Mounting it was super easy. It attaches to the outside of the helmet and doesn’t add much bulk at all. I was pleasantly surprised that it didn’t create any noticeable wind noise or drag, even at higher speeds.I didn’t get a chance to test the helmet-to-helmet intercom feature, so can’t speak to that, but for music and calls it worked just fine. Battery life has been decent too—no complaints there.
