- The actual phone holder is made well but functionally a bad idea, the spring loaded upper is super strong and holds well but damn near impossible to put in one handed without holding the mount, then when you go to take your phone out it tries to pull the case off. 2 star- The side grippers are a type of soft silicone and feel like if you remove the upper piece they would work in a car with a smooth ride.- The handle bar mount is solid aluminum and well made I have paid $13-15 for similar mounts only. 4 star- The RAM B piece that connects the two balls is functionally OK. 3 star- The handle bar mount and RAM B connector are almost worth the price point of $23

This is a really nice phone holder. The clamping mechanism isn't plastic like many other clamps - it is aluminum. It clamps well and the multiple ball joints makes it fast and easy to adjust. I comes with different size spacers to fit different size handle bars. I did not need to use any of them as mountain bike bars are some of the largest in the market.The anti-shock mechanism works, but does not eliminate bounce completely. Don't expect this to function like a gimbal. I have the phone mounted to the top tube and since the frame is a mountain bike the extra height this stand gives the device puts it in a comfortable viewing position.As for the holder, I requires two hands to get the device in and out of the holder. It has rubber grip everywhere so even if you come across a 2 ft ledge while riding and need to drop off, the device will stay nicely in place. No fear!

We got this unit to test and replace a freebie/cheap phone holder on our e-bikes. Most of our riding is on smoother streets and trails but we have still had issues with keeping phones in place and easy to read/follow. This phone holder is working flawlessly so far. It mounted easily to the handlebars and held the phones securely. We have both latest I-phones and Samsung S phones and this mount held both securely. The mount itself seems to be made well, feeling substantial in your hand, and we didn't see anything in the materials or construction that seemed cheap or would be a problem. Vibration resistance also worked well, keeping the vibrations to a minimum and allowing us to easily read directions and maps while riding. Very impressed and a good value for the cost.

The built-in vibration dampener is a standout feature. It effectively minimizes the shock and shake to my phone and its camera while riding, which is especially important for preserving the phone’s camera stabilization.Installation was straightforward, thanks to the included rubber ring inserts that fit various handlebar diameters. The mount accommodates phones with screen sizes from 5.4” to 7.2”, and the one-handed operation makes it easy to mount and remove the phone quickly.

Yes it does work well and will hold your phone secure. Down side is that it hold on so tight that is taking so getting used to when putting my phone in and taking it out. Had some issues when mounting it and the part that goes around the handlebars is not thin, it made it difficult to get around the wires and cables. Once it is on it is not going anywhere. Even with it being mostly plastic it is very sturdy. I was able to find a good angle that works for me. I looked at similar ones that cost more, but I think if something happen to this one I will get it again. It is a good value.

Very solid mount. Fits my 2019 Giant Toughroad E+ GX handlebar just barely.Mounts solidly to the handlebars and the mount pivots to a wide range of positions. This is helpful as I have very little space on my handlebars and the ebike controller takes up a big part of it. Phone is very secure. With an iPhone 12mini the top grip does cover the FaceID sensor.Great improvement on my long rides to work.
