These straps seem to be made of strong material and are probably decent straps. However they are just to long for my application. After putting the strap over the rear tire the strap would already be touching the deck of the trailer leaving no room to tighten down the strap. But this is probably just due to the size ofnmy rear tire and the design of my motorcycle.

it will work on a motorcycle if you twist and wrap the strap to shorten it,if looking for one i would not endorse this product

This will not work on most all motorcycles.

If you secure your bikes to the trailer with a front wheel chock, this rear wheel tie-down strap works great to keep the rear of the bike from shifting left/right during travel. If your tie-down points are ahead of the rear axle, it will also help to pull the bike forward against the chock. The images on the product page are a bit strange since they show it being used on a bike on a rear wheel paddock stand. I can't think of why anyone would actually use it this way. While it is easier to use with an open rear wheel, if you are using a front wheel chock or bar straps it will work fine on a bike with rear wheel fenders or on a bagger. It can be set up to the bottom-back part of a wheel and will still work to keep the bike from moving laterally. This strap is intended to be used in addition to securing the front of your bike with straps or a chock. It will not hold your bike upright on a trailer on its own.

As a motovlogger with multiple motorcycles, I have some that are incredibly easy to tie down and secure, and a large touring bike that is always a hassle, as there’s no great way to secure the front end well. As most people do, I secure the front end of the bike through the floor, mounted wheel chock, however, I have struggled with keeping the backend down and have resorted to strapping over the seat, that’s risking ruining the leather, just to keep the bike tied down. Enter this amazing strap.Upon first inspection of the strap, I was blown away at the quality and stitching that this robust strap offers. It easily allows me to go over the wheel and pull back tight into the chalk strapping into my locking system on either side of the bike and trailer. The strap can be used on both front and rear ends, but for me, it works perfectly on the rear end. It keeps my bike tight and in place, while keeping the tension and straps off of any vital areas, bit pressure to my fork seals, or any stress on the rear suspension of my bike.Pros: this is an incredibly well-made and quality strap. Perfect for what I’m doing, and perfect for the security of my bike over long tripsCons: So far I have nothing that I can grab about, I will update after some use.Final Thoughts: I am incredibly impressed with this bike strap, and can tell you firsthand that it has no problems, holding down a 900 pound bike. Huge win.

This is a great design, it is the same concept that car transporters use, just smaller. The material looks to be the same as used in seatbelts. Everything is stitched well and looks to be rugged. I run a 195/55-16 car tire on my Goldwing and had a spare tire on a rim to try this on. The strap in the middle wraps around the tire and rim ( It fit over the car tire with ease ) and the rest drapes over the tire. There is a loop on each side that your ratchet straps attach to. The problem is that you need a time down strap that anchors to the side of the trailer. If you have non removable saddlebags, there is no way to pull them out to tighten. They would have to go straight down, and since the straps almost reach the ground, there is no way to use a ratchet strap on it. It can't be used on the front wheel because the forks are in the way. If you have a motorcycle without bags however, this would be great. Put the Velcro strap around the tire and rim, attach your tie downs to this strap and tighten away. If the front wheel is securely in the wheel chock, using this strap will ensure that the rear is as secure as the front.

The product photos show a loop to connect the ratchet straps right at the side edge of the tie-down strap. That's not quite the case. The loops on the one delivered to me are at the ends of roughly two-foot straps on either side. Either way, the function is the same, though this may cause issue on some narrower trailers and truck beds.Over-all, the stitching is about as pictured, though it's in black instead of contrasting white. The whole thing has reinforced stitching, and often doubled-up straps. I expected something meant to be "just enough," but these look like they go above and beyond. There is nothing to indicate weight rating, so I cannot say whether it sounds good or bad. But a lack of rating does worry me a bit about how trustworthy this strap might be. As far as I've seen, it should work just fine as long as it isn't abused.

Wide sturdy straps, good quality stitching and very strong hook and loop attachment. This is a far better way to secure your bike than wrapping a tie down around the rear wheelThe straps delivered are slightly different than what is pictured and this may make difference as to whether or not they work for you. Your attachment points need to be far enough apart to take up the slack. The strap works best on street bikes with a 180 or more width tire. I tried to use this to secure a duel sport in my van and it might have worked but there was no way to get both front and rear tight and the chain guard interfered with a straight pull. Just for illustration purposes, I hung it on one of my street bikes (an FTR 1200) and I can see right t away it will work much better on that.
