This little device ads a lot of convenience to a scooter or motorcycle that doesn't get used frequently.The biggest question I had was if it would drain the batter if left connected. That doesn't seem to be the case, it times out and a button has to be pressed for it to turn on again. It also has a reasonably intelligent low voltage cutoff, so if the batter does get low it won't power the charger.It definitely works and will charge a battery from a USB connection. I would consider it more of a battery maintainer rather than something that could bring a dead battery back to life. But for that role it works very well. The included adapter allows you to quick-release it from the batter rather than leaving it attached all the time, though I do need to get a cover for the end if I leave it on the bike. The charger itself has a nice cover, so if it's left connected it seems fairly well protected from the elements.This is a convenient device for battery management, even outside of a motorcycle usage and I might find other uses for it.
