Just bought this pack and used it on a 2-night backpack. My Siberian husky seemed pretty comfortable wearing it but I don’t like how it restricts her shoulder/front arm movement; the chest plate wraps around over the front of her upper arm/shoulder which seems unnecessarily bulky in addition to being restrictive. It also caused a hot spot on her skin of her upper arm (where the chest plate wraps around) after the 3rd day. I’m going to look for a pack with just a single strap around the neck instead. Otherwise, it seemed to be a good quality & durable pack.

Our dog wore this for the first time on a 7 mile hike in red river gorge. It did not hinder his climbing , jumping, or hiking. Did not rub in any area and stayed in place through the hike. Will be buying a 2nd pack our dogs are 80 and 75lbs the medium fits both. Through rocks , brush and thorns no rips !

I bought this backpack for my 60lb male Australian shepherd and we have taken a few big adventures with it. He rubs it on trees when he marks them which worried me at first but it still isn't showing signs of damage. We did a bit of hiking up a mountain on the AT over the weekend and he got stuck between or rubbed on rocks over the weekend and the backpacking is still free of holes and damage. He also got in some water and it dried very quickly. It fits well (just load it evenly) and looks great. I would definitely buy it again!

Great backpack. Tucker is a fit 75lb Samoyed and the Medium size fits him great. One thing, if your dog has a problem with things going over his head, this may not be the right pack. There isn’t a quick release strap to avoid the pack going over the head. I just use a treat and lure his head through and he’s ok. He isn’t normally head shy but he’s never worn a pack before either.

This is the best backpack for dogs hands down. They really know what they are doing. Putting it on and taking it off is fast and easy. No unnecessary material on the dog's body, lightweight, great colors and ergonomically correct. I'm glad I found this. Awesome product!!!
