Oh no! I am DEFINITELY returning. It might work against mice, but the smell is too overwhelming for me. They made me dizzy & sick to my stomach. I went upstairs to take a shower & when I came back downstairs, where I placed a pouch the whole area smelled like this. To me, it doesn't smell like peppermint. It smells like some kind of chemical or glue/adhesive. I will be returning these, except for the one that I already threw in the garbage. If you have a sensitive nose like me, think twice.

Foundation work was being done and the garage bottom rubber seal was magically missing in the corner. Great place for the winter. I had poison pellets in front of the hole that they macked out on, but the babies could squeeze through something out there and get into the house. I cleared up my issue with those amazing reusable traps that come in green, but I needed to be sure and keep them out or have them die after I replaced the seal. I was concerned about the smell and making everything turn into the peppermint equivalent of mothballs. Great smell. No more mice skittering around in my garage. Happy customer.

I bought these for my car after reading the other reviews of how they worked in keeping mice away. Well I cleaned out my car entirely. I literally took everything in my car out even the change and my car papers from the glove box. I swept it out even the trunk and wiped down and disinfected the entire car and trunk.Completely empty I put 5 of these in my car in different areas, and it's a honda accord so not a large car. Well the mice literally ate one of the pouches. I would actually like my money back on this product. And if I could give it a 0 stars I would.

Update NEVER AGAIN Smell was so horrific. I had to get up in the middle of the night and throw them out. I wouldn’t even give it one starhope this works as I HATE the smell. I thought it was going to smell like peppermint, I don’t know how long I will be able to deal with this odor. 🤢

UPDATE; 3/31/25 The seller reached out to me after seeing my review and offered to fully refund me for this product. Since their customer service is excellent I am changing my 3 stars to 4. Hopefully they will remove the garlic from the product and that will allow for the peppermint scent to be more prominent. They have fully refunded me so I do thank them for that. The only reason for not upping the review to 5 stars is the garlic is overpowering in these packets.I am only giving this product 3 stars because of the smell. I read the reviews before purchasing this item. I park my car outside and have an issue with mice making nests in my car air filter. This product received 5 stars and everyone said it works great and that the peppermint smell is very pleasant and not too strong. This is where my problem is. I got my order and opened the box and smelled garlic. I put two of the pouches in my car thinking that it was just the box smelling like garlic. Unfortunately now my car smells of garlic and its a very strong smell of garlic. I do not smell the peppermint or the cinnamon that everyone said made their sheds and cars smell so nice. Now I can only hope that this product works as well as reviews said because I am VERY DISAPPOINTED in the smell and don't know if I will be able to continue using this in my car as was advertised . Again I do not smell peppermint at all, yet all the reviews stated that it was a pleasant mint smell.

These did not work for me at all. When I checked them, the mice had left droppings on them.

These packets smell very strongly of garlic. I had to remove them from the passenger compartment of my car. Will use them in the bed of the truck and perhaps when the boat is put away for the season. Meanwhile I will reorder Grampa Gus's mouse repellant packs - these smell of pepermint and cinnamon and are effective!
