I bought this ultrasonic repellent because I had problems with raccoons and stray cats in my garden. The installation was simple, and I liked that it works with solar energy, so I don't have to worry about changing batteries.As for effectiveness, I noticed that cats stopped prowling certain areas, but raccoons seem to get used to it after a while. It works best if I place it at different angles or move it occasionally.
