Where to begin? My mower (JD X360, 48 inch deck) happens to use three different parts for the deck wheel arms. The item I purchased is supposed to come with two gage wheel arms that are sold as an identical pair. The odd arm I ordered alone, but I ordered two pairs to get the appropriate parts. The part numbers for these arms end in 327 and 328 respectively. Well, what I got was not only disappointing, but confusing as well.If you look closely at the attached pic, you will see that the top arm is labeled as 327, while the middle arm is engraved as 328. Although they are different part numbers, they’re actually identical, with matching orientation of the mounting holes. Not to be outdone, the middle and lower arm are both engraved as 328, but their mounting holes are opposite. So, between the 328’s, one of them is engraved incorrectly. I’d say the middle one is because it’s identical to the 327 arm. To really confuse things, beneath the 327 label lies the engraving 328.Anyway, I made it work. I needed two 328’s and just one 327. What I’m left with is a single, unused arm labeled 327 but engraved 328. I guess what I’m trying to say is check the parts you get against what you need/ordered. Also, considering these come in a pack of two, I don’t see how one would return half an order. I could have returned both, but I needed my mower asap. Perhaps ordering them individually might have been the better route. It would have saved me money.
