I purchased this for my daughter’s car. I followed instructions properly and after it remote start windows wouldn’t roll up or down, car wouldn’t shift from parking, the seat wouldn’t adjust, after car was started remotely the doors where unlocked. I Contacted customer service they sent me new wire harness and still the same problem.

The video on YouTube from MPC is very informative and accurate. I am very pleased with this product and the install process. The only hiccup I ran into was once it is all finished and working, apparently you have to push the start button one time after remote starting it when you're ready to drive. Otherwise, it will die when you press the brake. I assume this is a safety feature to make sure it's you getting inside to drive. It must need to change over from remote start mode to drive mode. You can also turn the car off by pressing the lock button on the FOB 3 more times if needed.

Incomplete or less than clear instructions. Helpline quick to respond, but response was incongruous with info provided in online YouTube video for my exact application. So when I got done and it did not work, I don't know which info was correct or if there is another problem. I did not have time to troubleshoot further as vehicle HAD to be back on road that day, so to make sure I did not have any circuit failure it was uninstalled and will need to start over another day. Not all info is in kit nor provided via online tips/instructions as they suggest - in my case no wiring chart was included.

I just wrapped up installing this MPC Remote Start in my 2105 Nissan Altima. I chose the option to use the factory remotes. The whole procedure start to finish was less than an hour. There were only 5 philips head screws to remove to remove the instrument cluster in order to gain access to the body control module where the connections are made. I used one of the snap on t-connectors supplied with the kit for the power wire, and I was able to use one of the BCM mounting screws to attach the ground. The rest is plug and play, and is pretty straight forward. Simply unplug the connector from the BCM, and plug in the matching connector from the remote start wiring harness. I did run into an issue with the Flashlink lite. When I plugged it to a USB port on my desktop PC, the PC powered itself down immediately. It did this on all USB ports. I tried it on a laptop, and it worked fine. Desktop is a Dell 3040M, laptop is a Dell Latitude E6510 for anyone wondering. After solving that, it was easy to program the unit and it worked fine on the first try. Definitely download the tip sheet referenced on the invoice. Everything you need to know is there for the installation and programming. There is a link to the programming video which tells you where to download the software for programming. The software is Flashlink Manager V4, you can just search that as well. If you can run a screwdriver and a pair of wire crimping pliers, you can install this.
