The difference is night and day using scrub daddy grill brushes when compared to my old wire grill brush. Not only is this one much better since I don’t have to be always double check my grill to make sure any bristles fell out, it cleans so much easier faster! I also have the bbq daddy grill brush, the only similarities between the two are the scrub. Operation is identical, just dip the grill pad into water (I’ve had success simply soaking it in water from the hose, not iced) and scrubbing my hot grill. The handle of this grill cleaner is straight, I don’t like it very much, I guess since I’m used to the curved handle of the bbq daddy, with it’s secondary handle towards the base that allows me to apply more pressure for bigger grate messes. Don’t get me wrong this Mr. BBQ grill cleaner does work well, I just wouldn’t reach for this one for messier, stuck-on cleanings because I have to use more pressure in my hands.

This year I updated my grill, I figured I would update all my grill utensils as well and wanted a new brush to clean the grates. This popped up and I figured I would give it a go.The other day I made chicken thighs and burgers. They were greasy and saucy and left the grates a mess. After pulling the food off I filled a bowl with cold water and dunked the scrubber in, letting it get nice and soaked. I was not sure what to expect but it did a surprisingly good job at clearing off the burnt on gunk and sticky barbeque sauce.The head is woven metal so you do not have a problem with bristles breaking off, which is the concern nowadays. It soaks up water and uses steam on hot grates to loosen the burned on bits before scrubbing it away. It did not take long before the grates were scrubbed up and ready for the next grilling session.It does what it claims and I cannot complain. The only downside I can really come up with is that to use the brush, it requires a hot grill of around 300 F. Too hot risks warping the grates or cracking the ceramic if they are coated and it is a bit difficult to scrub the underside of the grates if they must remain hot and in the grill. So once in a while it will be required to take the grates out and give them a proper scrub.All in all, I recommend this grill brush. It works slick and makes clean up a bit quicker.

Works great ! My grill is super clean and no worries about having steel Brissel pieces left on grill from scrubbing so hard . I also used it for my oven when food dripped on bottom tray and oven started to get Smokey .

These steam clean brushes are just fantastic.I'm so glad that people have stopped using those awful, unsafe wire brushes and chemicals in favor of these handy, easy to use steam scrubbers.Not only are they superior in cleaning, but they use the heat of the grill or griddle to quickly and easily remove stuck on food, grease, and oil while your grill is still hot!Best of all, it REALLY works!The only thing about this one is it doesn't feel quite as tough as some of the heavy duty canvas ones I've used (like Grill Rescue), but this one is a bit different and comes in at almost half the price.Best of all, it comes from an established name brand, so I'm sure if you have any issues, they'd stand behind their product.Overall, very happy with it. It does a great job scrubbing my stainless Blackstone griddle to a shine!

Wasn’t going to grill anymore because I hated cleaning the grill grates. Makes it so easy to clean my grill now.
