I installed on a 2001 Jeep Cherokee. Complete plug and play. You do need to use the supplied rubber hanger and drill one hole bigger to make installing on the truck side hanger bracket easier and the holes are smaller and the hanger on the exhaust is smaller as well.I did not use the second hanger with the strap and just reused my existing hanger for the tail pipe.

So I got it installed but it had some short comings right out of the box. First off there is no packing material in the box. The muffler just bounced around inside the box, denting and scratching everything inside. If you use the stock catalytic converter, you have to grind off the alignment dowell on the outlet side to slide the muffler on far enough. The bends were actually pretty good and in that area it fit pretty well. The outlet on the muffler is to big for the tailpipe section so I had to use an expander on the tail section to get it tight enough in the muffler outlet. It still leaked so ended up just welding it instead of using clamps. I think with a few tweaks on this system, it has the potential to be pretty good. But it come comes up well short in the quality control area as of right now. Thankfully, I have the tools to make it work. If your just looking for a straight bolt on system, go elsewhere. It ended up taking about 5 hours to install. To long for what's supposed to be a direct replacement... in my opinion.

The muffler on my 2000 jeep charokee XJ had a pretty bad exhaust leak. I purchase this one because it seemed like a good value. When I recived it, the box it arrived in was in perfect condition but the muffler looked like someone through it out the window while driving down the highway.. It's was scratched very badly and dented in multiple places.. I didn't want to waste my time sending it back so I just painted it and bolted it on my jeep. My jeep sounds way better but I'm pretty disappointed in the condition it arrived in..My recommendation is do not buy this muffler. You will be wasting your money.
