Our house we bought a few years ago came with an in ground pool. Last year we discovered a leak in the liner and knew it was time to replace it. When we took out the old liner we found an array of things that needed repaired. We made all the necessary repairs and bought more sand to level out the bottom and sides where we had to make repairs. It took us weeks as we chose to do the repairs ourselves. Which, in the end, we were glad we did. It took weeks to do it right, and while our pool was out of use for way longer than we would have liked during the summer, we saved thousands. Anyway, the sand we added was not staying out due to wind and eventually rain. Before we could get the necessary friends to come help us with the final steps of putting in the actual liner, we needed the sand to stay put. So we fixed the sand and sprayed it down with a light layer of this glue. It. Worked. Perfect. Saved our sanity, and made it possible for us to wait to get the liner in when we were able. I can definitely see how this would hold mulch in place with the right application. It made it possible for us to walk on the bottom of the pool without leaving prints in the sand while we cleaned up debris right before putting in the liner. So, does what it says. And glad we found it!

Mulch glue worked well in my garden and on river rocks. My first batch of the solution did not hold as well so I mixed a second batch with less water. River rocks actually glued together! Two days later we had torrential rain and the mulch stayed in place. Even the mulch on a slope. I will definitely buy another bottle to spray another layer to prevent erosion in the autumn. I’m impressed since usually I have to sweep up the mess of mulch everywhere after a rainfall.

Despite my initial reservations stemming from the varied reviews, I took a chance and tested this product. Adhering closely to the instructions, I sprayed the product methodically, regulating the saturation level to achieve the desired adhesion strength, and granted it ample time to set. I coated it twice at 7 pm, and while it remained slightly damp when I checked at 8 am the next day, it had notably solidified by 2 pm. As I aim for a robust bond, I intend to acquire another bottle to apply an additional thick layer. Ultimately, the product proves its efficacy! EXCELLENT!!!

One bottle was enough to do the trick for an area of 12x8 ft. Used half the bottle, then an hour later use the other half. Both times heavy saturated the area. Was going to buy another one to reinforce what was done, just never got around to it. I lightly stepped over the rocks 3 weeks later just to check and it is still holding strong. I’d say 99% of the rocks have stayed. Will keep recheck it again to see if it needs any touchups. Hoping not to do this more than every six months. But only time will tell and so far I think the money was well spent.
