Blades are VERY sharp, made from steel so very hard wearing and fairly heavy, not the most comfortable to use.But well worth the cost.

Honestly these ended being way better than I expected. They're super heavy and sharp. I've cut food, bones, plastic, paper, amazing for wrapping paper ?? Buying a second pair just to have.

1st of all these didn't come with a gold handle it is a multiple rainbow finish. These scissors are so very sharp that it can open envelopes and boxes with a slice when I run the open scissors down the side without having to use force. I had gotten these to replace my meat cutting scissors that had a serrated edge on the side that made it difficult to sharpen in my electric sharpener. these scissors are so sharp if I keep hand washing these and no one else uses them these should be good for years these are very sturdy, in the inside of the handle there's a part that can be used to crack open crab legs or hard Non pre shelled nuts with ease without pinching my finders or my hand.
