This is a high quality lubricant and is silicone based but is supposed to be food grade according to the description. In other words you can safely use it around the kitchen or anywhere you may come in contact with it. I have used it on a multitude of items that needed help. I have not used this on anything that would require it to be food grade level and I probably won’t but, I did use it on a couple of the cabinet hinges in the kitchen.Originally, I got this to use on the zippers and snaps on a binini top for a pontoon boat that had seen better days and would barely move. I had put other lubricants on the zippers and snaps and a couple of them helped but, only for a little while and I would have to do it again and all of them would melt from the heat and run onto the material and stain it. I used a very small paint brush and a small amount of the product and painted it onto the zippers and it was a simple task. I tried to zip them up and they all actually worked great! The best part was it stayed on the zippers and did not melt onto the fabric. It’s been a while now, and it is still doing a great job.I remembered the hair clippers that were out of oil, the sliding door that doesn’t work so well when it gets cold, the hinges on the door that squeaked, cabinet hinges, and even my ratchets. When I replaced the kitchen and bathroom faucets I put a small amount on the o rings of the handles because, some of the ones on the old faucets had been a problem. They turn so smooth and easy now and I guess time will tell how that goes but, they are working great now. There are many other things I have used this product on but, I’ve not been disappointed at all.I will say that this is the best product for anything that you can lubricate. It only takes a small amount to solve the problem. The best thing is that it will stay where you need it to be without melting or evaporating.I recommend this product.

This is a set of two tubes of food grade multi-purpose silicone grease. Each tube has 10gm of grease and a recloseable screw cap. The tube is 3.5" long. The grease has a high viscosity. Use the grease as a lubricant as well as an assist for sealing surfaces. Can be used on zipper/snaps from any device like clothes, coolers, gym bags or utility bags. Can also be used on cooler lids, fishing reels and toolbox hinges. I keep my tubes in my worktable drawer for easy access.Would recommend this to anyone.

This is set of two small sized tubes of food grade silicone lubricant. There are literally hundreds of potential applications for this product. I use it primarily on gaskets (not high temperature) to help with the seal and prevent cracking and aging of the gasket. It holds up well, lubricates well and is food safe if that application is needed.
