Poor holeshot, your outboard is not perpendicular (straight up & down) in relation to the water at higher speed, if you can trim the engine all the way up without the prop letting go or with no appreciable loss of water pressure at full throttle, the hull doesn't seem to "lift" like it should, if you're experiencing any or all of the above, your boat could be a good candidate for an outboard boat aluminum jack plate.
The engine side holes of the adjustable jack plate for outboard boat motors are drilled 1.500 inches higher than the transom side, combined with the 6 inches of adjustable vertical lift you can obtain 5.500 inches at height.

Should do well for my smaller 25hp outboard.1 bolt on the jack plate was seized which i found weird ,just replaced it after I broke it trying to get if off the top clamping hole.Installed it on the boat now to put the motor on it tonight

Nice machining and detail for a basic jackplate. Holes line up great. Overall looks well built

I gave it 5 because it works beautifully. The only issue was the actual installation. You definitely need some fabrication skills!
