How to Embroidery:
1.Crochet hook into the grid
2.Fold the embroidery thread in half and hook it with a crochet needle.
3.Pull the embroidery thread out of the horizontal grid
4.The crochet hook hooks the tail of the embroidery thread
5.Pull the tail of the embroidery thread across the grid and out of the loop
6. Arrange and tighten the embroidery thread

The pattern shows an outer rim of a BBLBB repeat, however the actual rug backing piece does not include a row for this when trying to make it. After hours of trying to make it work I had to pull it all back out as it the count was off

This placemat is not worth the trouble, nor the price, nor the wait to receive it. So disappointed with this one. The grid is off, as others have mentioned, and the actual design looks nothing like the product photo. Also, I'm not sure how it can be called a rug. I don't think anyone could actually fit two feet on it at the same time. Waste of time and money.

This kit did not contain all of the required colors of yarn for the pattern, 2 were missing. The colors that were included also didn’t have enough supplied to finish the project. It is a cute pattern so I will try to finish it with some of my own yarn. But don’t buy this expecting to have everything you need to finish it.

The pattern shows 80 grids wide but the canvas is only 78 and it’s the same story for length…leaves you to figure out what columns and rows are missing. Also, another reviewer spoke about a missing row from the pattern to the canvass and they are absolutely correct, the bottom row is missing on the canvass would not buy again nor do I recommend this kit, especially for beginners.

Pattern is printed on canvas & very easy to read!!! Most kits I get are not like that and tend to be frustrating. not so this kit. very pleased with my purchase :)
