The panels are dense foam/rubber like, about 1/4” thick which initially threw me off. But after doing research it makes sense. I really like it came with a template with grid lines and plenty of tape. I cut the cardboard template and then the panels which were easy to mark and cut with scissors. I cut the cardboard template bigger and then trimmed the panels until I got a snug fit. I like that it seems as though moisture will not bother the panels. The white face is leather like and looks of quality. I live in Florida so between eliminating heat, bugs and noise I’m quite happy with these!
