This is a thick mylar like material. It is not at all flimsy like mylar foil and is easy to install. I mean to use it to the top of a chicken coop during the summer to avoid overheating. Recommended if you have a use for mylar but don't want it to rip too easily

It adapts well to fit in any place you need it. It's highly reflective, and thick enough to hold up to wear & tear.

I appreciate the substantial material -- I've been going cheap and using tinfoil in my growing tent, but this is soooooo much better! The wrinkly look of the mylar is by design and thick, so it doesn't damage further and get more wrinkled like foil does. This works well for reflectivity around the plants.

I am very pleased with the quality of the film: highly reflective, thick, and strong with great texture. It's a great building material for my winter green house. Nice product!

I bought the thicker Mylar for durability. Doesn’t tare easy. It’s pretty reflective and insulates my grow area.

This is an excellent reflective material to work with. It is thicker and more easy to keep flat and looking good compared to mylar which tends to develop creases and folds. This on the other hand maintains a nice diamond texture which reminds me of the texture of window screen. It is easy to cut with scissors and the ends where your cut it are still strong and tear resistant. It can be held in place with nails, staples and screws as well as with adhesives or tapes. It is very versatile. I like working with it. The sample sent arrived in very good condition as it is quite durable. I like it and would recommend it for its looks, durability, and ease of working with. 5 stars.

And like any bus, my 5-window minibus has bus style windows. What I have done around my windows is to create a window frame that is literally a box around each of the windows. I have installed an RV air conditioner and a diesel heater in the bus but as most people know, windows are the worst for keeping cool in on a hot day or warm in on a cold day. What I did with the windows is to add hook & loop tape around the "box" that surrounds each window. I have cut three different covers - one is screening so if I do want to open the windows for fresh air, I don't have to put up with bugs flying in and they can be attached with hook & loop tape and stay put across the window area. I made black out covers, again with hook & loop tape on pleasant nights when I might want the windows open but not have anyone seeing it - the material is breathable enough to allow air to pass through. Last, but certainly not least, I cut covers from this mylar material as covers over the windows on hot days/nights when I want to keep my a/c inside the bus or cold days/nights so my diesel heater isn't working too hard to keep my little home warm. This was easy to cut and attach the hook & loop tape to and does a great job for reflecting the heat of the sun away from the bus (as it is late spring at the moment and where I am the day temps are often 80 or above). Definitely worth it for my use!

This material is a step above traditional mylar type material. It feels more like a reflective fabric type material that is more durable than mylar sheets. Even 3 mil mylar sheets tend to rip and tear. This material is hard to rip with your hands. You must use scissors or a razor knife to cut this material. It is easy to install. Just measure and cut a bit extra. I used staples to hold it tight to walls. This definitely reflects better than flat white paint. This is great for indoor gardens and greenhouses. It helps you maximize your light output by reflecting back rays onto the plants. Overall, very pleased with this durable reflective material.
