They did what they are supposed to do. But these inserts are not very strong, I broke one when attempting to take it out of the wood. Make sure your hole is at least 14 mm. Slightly larger would be better.

Iām using them to mount Christmas lights around the exterior of my house in cement fiber siding. They were easy to mount and so far they are holding out good in 1 inch thick trim.
