There was a totally incomplete description for the item. I need a 3/8" dia. eye lag bolt 6" long. I'll just go to a hardware store in the future.

Very quick delivery, and it is sturdy, and probably decent value for the money, however, it is NOT 5 inches long if you measure it the way you are supposed to measure eye lag screws which is from the base of the "eye" to the pointed tip of the screw. It is 4 inches long. It also has a tag on it saying "Do NOT use for overhead lifting, support of human weight, athletic or playground equipment." In my posted question I stated that I needed one 6 inches long to hang a swing on a porch with a vinyl ceiling (thus a gap between the support beam and vinyl ceiling). Therefore, this is useless for my current project on both counts. It's not worth returning, and maybe I'll be able to use it for something else down the road, but I thought other customers might want to know this.

These are not polished "art" pieces. They are nicely formed, cut and finished, utilitarian, "I" screws. The long neck length, between the beginning of the threads and the bottom of the "I" allows for many years of tree growth before the "I" is in danger of being "buried."
