This is approximately 2.5 inches by 13 inches long. The metal portion has a smooth black finish with the wooden base slit cut to allow for it to be held up. It's easy-to-assemble and a good size for inclusion with any of your decor. Recommended!

I bought this because we are living in a temporary house after ours sold and all the Christmas stuff is packed away. We got a little artificial tree but the holiday would not be the same without a nativity scene. Our heirloom one is packed away and this will be one of the few holiday seasons that it’s not set up and there aren’t a lot of them around that look traditional anymore. I found this metal art one and like the photo but I was not prepared to like the actual thing as much as I do. It’s the perfect size for a cramped apartment, motorhome, retirement home or pretty much anywhere. Due to our temporary quarters I have it on the half wall between the kitchen and living room and it looks great there.While it is simple, just a piece of cutout metal painted black that slides into a groove in a wooden base, the effect is very beautiful with all of the primary nativity characters present and looking surprisingly realistic, complete with tall palm trees camels and lambs. The metal is fully polished at the edges and the paint is a soft satin sheen that picks up the reflection of brightly colored lights in the room.The entire thing can go with you anywhere. My initial thought when I bought it was that I would donate it after the holidays but after I saw how well made it is I plan to keep it and put on display every year.YES NO MAYBEThis is more special than anticipated and has a very artistic look to it. I like it a lot. However I took a star away to be consistent with the other four star reviews. While I like the item it should be called out that the product description is absolutely false and misleading, the product is illustrated as looking far larger than the actual 11" length of the metal art. To be clear it is very small, a knicknack for a small shelf, not anywhere near as large as they show it, which could lead to disappointment when it is received. Such practices cannot earn a full five stars.

I really like this simple Nativity scene. Unlike traditional Nativity sets with many individual pieces, this is a simple two piece set that doesn't take a lot of space and can be placed on any flat surface. The wood stand has a nice rustic look to it, and the metal scene fits easily into the slit in the middle of the stand. I like that it can be taken apart to be stored flat when not in use. There are no sloppy mistakes and it looks to have been made with care. I like this immensely and it would be great for home use or to give as a gift. It is packaged well in a plain brown box - so while it is well protected, it's not a pretty box designed to impress as a gift. I'm very pleased with this Christ themed decoration!
