How to detect whether the alarm is working properly?
Aim the lighter at the sensor position of the alarm. When the gas concentration exceeds 7%LEL, the alarm will issue a sound (>85db) and light alarm

Easy and "seems" to work very well. That is what they call faith. It never alarmed when I ran it for 3 weeks. But a bad airb2b in Michigan, unplugged it after I left.

We have had this since May and it keeps randomly going off. We have put it in different spots in our house but it continues to go off. We have wired gas detector in our house and none of them are going off. It is malfunctioning.
