When we first received this it smelled pretty strongly but I just set it in the mud room and let is air out. My puppy LOVES this. 8 month old German Shepherd. The wheel however came off the rope and was halfway split down the middle. He still plays with both the rope and the wheel. Luckily he is not inclined to tear up or nibble off pieces.

Dog is an avid chewer so she immediately ripped apart the rope however the tire is still going strong & she loves to chew on it!

I ordered this toy for my bulldog Brutus. It was stated to be indestructible. Unfortunately this is not the case. it didnt survive an hour and Brutus had the tire shredded, in fact it made him sick and he puked up blue plastic bits all over the bedroom. I do not recommend this for any dog, it is, simply stated, worse than junk.

This dog toy is very durable. The tire is thick, as is the ripe. It seems to be a pretty good size for my hound dog, and Norwegian Elkhound.

My son's dog loves these type of tire toys and they are usually pretty sturdy. This one is a little thinner than I like. The rubber of the tire is flexible.After a few days of play the ropes got destroyed and a few days later the tire was done for.My son's dog is medium sized but he is pretty aggressive with his toys. This one just didn't hold up.

Our dog is a chewer and destroys just about any toy we give him almost instantly. He has had this one for a while and it still in great shape. He has torn off some of the strings but most are still in place. The rubber tire is really good quality and he is constantly chewing on it. He likes to play fetch with it as well. I highly recommend it!

Natural Rubber Tire and Organic Cotton Rope Pull and Chew Dog Toy for All Pet Breeds, Pink, One SizeWe have a rope tugger that is getting old. I thought this would be a good replacement. it looks and feel just like our old one, other than having that tire in the middle. however for some reason it didn't take on our beagle. She initially showed a little bit of curiosity towards it, but eventually left it and went back to the beat up one. Not sure if it is her having attachments to the old toy or not, but this is now just taken up space in the living room.it might just be our dog but unfortunately this one didn't work out for us.
