Looks very nice. The flame still moves around like a candle flame, though. This is my first oil lamp, but I bought it for the purpose of having a still flame for kasina meditation. Perhaps the chimney is too short. The amber/gold bowl that holds the oil gives an afterimage itself, though, which is interesting.

This lamp is pretty but very dangerous if not handled carefully. The lamp oil compartment is not sealed off in any way and if tipped slightly will spill oil all over. If lit when spilled could then cause an extreme fire. Avoid moving after lighting. Top portion is also not secured to the bottom in any way. Can lift off or fall off when carried. It is not designed like other hurricane lamps with a screw on top. BEWARE! Very poorly designed.

OMG this lamp will not stay lit. I’ve tried it with a wick other than what comes in the lamp—same problem. What is the super secret magical secret to make this thing work??? Lol it’s expensive so it’s really not that funny. 🤪😕😟😔 It doesn’t stay lit so it’s not a lamp. It’s just a bunch of glass you can pour oil in so unless there’s a secret to make it work—probably don’t buy a non-working hunk of glass unless that’s what you want for your decorative shelf? Antique looking, beautiful details, amber glass base accents the gold tone metal flower petals shaped wick holder. This is a dainty glass paraffin candle therefore use caution as it is not childproof as previously mentioned; jostling or or sudden movements will spill the oil as it is meant for beauty, worship, and/or ease of use not child safety. This cannot be manhandled either as again it is glass, oil, and flame when lit. Super easy to fill (I used a turkey blaster) and set up, works perfectly.

It is a bit small but so pretty and does a good job! The top is open and does not lock in to place so once you put oil in it, I wouldn't recommend moving it too much.

I was beyond nervous waiting for my package to arrive, I wanted to greet the Amazon delivery driver at the door to make sure they didn't toss it around on the curb. With how delicate everyone else was saying this thing was I was scared it'd come broken or cracked but I'm happy to report it's perfect! It has a tiny tiny imperfection where the glass molding was concerned but it's not noticable and there's no cracks or chips! So happy with my new beautiful lamp (pictured on windowsill solely for this review picture only).

The top lifts straight up and you put the oil in the bottom. Light's easily. I didn't notice Buddha images on it. . must be subtle. I use it several times a month when it's time to light for a departed soul that lived in the ancient past or someone I knew recently dying. or once every week for my deceased parents.

This is a gorgeous lamp!! It looks and works beautifuly. Very well made. I had zero issues getting this going. It is my first lamp and I expected some learning issues to occur. This is a great holiday gift item. Am considering ordering a bunch of these for friends and family. The globe/shade is tinted yet it is just the right amount of sheer to be able to illuminate the room. Have been using it for several hours the last couple of days and have not needed to adjust the wick. Will last a long time. Absolutely love it!!
