bought because I have a tight fit in the engine where all other sockets I bought didn't fit. the slimmer shaft of this was perfect to get in the tight area to secure the 18mm spark plug

I have had a spark plug wrench for many years, it always fit my car spark plugs, so I figured all spark plugs used the same size socket, right? Wrong! Who knew! I have a TORO 22-inch Recycler lawn mower with a Briggs & Stratton engine, and it turns out the spark plug takes a 14mm socket wrench (this double-sided wrench provides 14mm and 18mm sockets). This one is very inexpensive, is thin enough to reach the spark plug without interference from the engine chassis, but thick enough to hold tight and tolerate good torque. It now holds a permanent spot in my toolbox. What's not to love, unless you want a shiny chrome socket with a foam insert and don't mind spending extra for the luxury. Otherwise this will do the trick!

Worked good for my Honda 400ex. If you plan to remove your 400ex spark plug with out taking off the gas tank you might have to cut the tool in half.

Don’t know where I lost the original, but it takes a very deep tube to get to that plug on the XL. Worked perfect, great quality, cheap! As in price. I would definitely buy again. As a matter fact I did! For my other XL 250. Better to have two, one in each bikes tool bag, than get caught on the trail with out proper tools.
