Love the versatility that this offers. I can adjust my shower head and my handheld into just about any position I want. I bought 2 of these and the installation on both was simple and relatively easy. Wish the flats on the nut that connects to the shower arm were a bit wider so I could actually get a wrench on it. I had to use a pair of locking pliers with a piece of innertube to keep from chewing up the surface when I tightened things down. There was noting in the packaging to tell you what positions activated either the shower head or the handheld. In the end you take your chances the first time you turn on the shower after installation.

I have used a lot of diverters in fancy hotels and I can tell you, this one is better than all of them, hands down! The very precise, accurate and satisfying click as you rotate the selector to any of the four options is excellent. There’s no dripping from the head that’s not in use because the valve works well and off means off - zero drips! Due to the length, it does want to rotate if pushed to hard to the left (counter clockwise) despite having a set screw. It’s still getting five stars because it’s so good otherwise and I’m going to install an acrylic post near the switch that will adhere to the tile wall to keep it from rotating. Enjoy if you go this route!

The shower head holder on the side is super weak. It would not tighten enough to hold my shower head up. It would constantly rotate and the showerhead would fall off. It's useless.

I love my spa tub and shower, but one thing was missing-a handheld shower head with filter! There are other diverters, but this one is the one that works best for my home spa! And no more red eyes or itchy scalp from the chemicals in the water! Holistic healer gives this diverter 5 stars! No leaks and easy to install! Great value for quality design. Holds my shower head with filter perfectly for showers!

I installed this to add a separate attachment to the shower head in one of the bathrooms. This product appears to be made from quality metal components considering the weight and finish. The install was self-explanatory enough and took all of two minutes to complete. Everything moved and fit nicely and it works great with my shower head. I like that it has a valve on the side that controls the water flow and pressure. Just make sure to have everything attached and tightened appropriately so it doesn’t leak.

No instructions or diagrams in the package, just a note saying not to use teflon tape. The rubber washer was broken (split), and compressed inside the shower arm- I had to go to the hardware store to try to fins something to make it work, and it leaks like a sieve. The slip nut system ( has a reverse thread to try to align the shower head) is crap. Buy something else. I've replaced a bunch of shower heads, valves, and arms in 50 years of owning homes, and this is the worst design and documentation I have encountered.UPDATE: After considerable effort and unnecessary expense to find other parts that would work with this, I got it to work better; it is OK now, with a couple of provisos.1) The documentation issue is still a problem- a picture on the Amazon page is not the answer.2) This works only one way- it is not a reflexive design; if there is only a shower head and a combined flow setting, it is in backwards. Unless you buy a bunch of M-M and F-F adapters, it only works if you thread it onto the end of the shower arm, which puts the hose head halfway across the shower rather than near the wall. Because my rain shower head is a 16" straight with terminal 90 degree turn connector, I can't use it in any way like the photos show.3) The rubber washers are fine as long as a) they are good (one of the ones they provided with the device was split); and b) the shower arm extension is a very thick metal. If it is thin, e.g., stainless steel rather than brass, the washer just slides up into the shower arm tube. It took me 4 different shower arms (bought on Amazon) to find one that was thick enough so it actually sealed with a rubber washer.4) The coupler on the water supply side is strange, needs instructions, and is still likely to leak. The design is apparently intended to allow the shower arm to be rotated to the right position while the coupler is tightened. Nice idea, problematic execution.In short, the device quality is OK, if you get it installed in the only working direction it works fine, some tendency to leak on the water supply side connector, and be sure to get gender-change couplers as needed if you are going to have an actual useful installation. It is not junk, they just need to make a couple of adjustments, starting with decent documentation and instructions.

It is a nice diverter to use both rain shower head and handled shower head together but I wish the handled shower holder part would be stronger. It is not holding heavy shower heads. I used super glue to fix it with an proper angle to overcome this issue.
