Emphasis on GOOD quality. I'm not saying this is a great mic with superb audio quality. This gets the job done and comes in a nice form factor. Doesn't take up space and easy to bend to whatever position you want. I use this with my desktop setup by having it plugged in to my keyboard and recording with that. I would argue that using a wireless receiver mic would be preferable over this. The price makes this an easy buy that makes life a little bit nicer so if you need a small mic for certain occasions get this.

I really wanted to love this mic. But I'd be lying if I said that. I do think this a good mic for certain use cases. Unfortunately this is not great as a tiny hand held mic. The handleling noises is overwhelming, like there's no rejection. The low profile and adjustability however make this an intriguing mic for journalist or news gathers. Being able to connect this mic to a wireless system you can get a much better audio from a podium or set on a table vs the built in mics from the small mic transmitters. As long as you're not holding it or moving it, this mic has a good pick up pattern. I would love to see an improvement in the mic where it addresses handling noise and offer's us a new option for a little hand held for run and gun low key interviews.

I bought this for my Ulanzi AM 18 wireless camera microphone system for instances where I might want to quickly interview someone. I can just unclip the microphone/ transmitter from my clothes and pop this little 6 inch gooseneck microphone in the mic input and use it like a handheld microphone. Works and sounds great.

I own the DJI Mic 2 set and I use this to capture ambient sounds while my other mic catches whatever dialog I need to. High quality build with surprisingly good sound quality for its price. It's not a replacement for your fancy desktop mic by any means but it is great to have for field recordings.

Sounds about the same as built in mic. Would recommend getting a dead cat for it to reduce blowing noises.

A good vocal mic for recording speech, etc. Fairly sturdy. I use it as part of my VR setup and if I'm not understood it's never the mic's fault.

For those of you who sometimes likes to hold up your wireless transmitters to your mouth when talking, this bendable mic helps you do so without looking weird.Picks up sound just as well as the transmitter itself. The mic sits on a long rigid extension that is pliable so that you can manipulate it to whatever direction you want. The pliability is strong as well so it doesn't lose its shape easily at all. It allows you to appear like your talking into an actual mic. If you prefer to attach the transmitter to your shirt or magnet necklace, the extension helps to pick up sound better than using just the transmitter itself.I, personally, like this style of a mic extension over a lav just cause I don't really like dangling wires. It's super inexpensive to at just a little over $13. I didn't notice any degradation in audio quality when comparing it to the audio using the transmitter mic.Great addition to my already large treasure trove of accessories.
