Unusable. It looks like Vaseline is spread over the front of the lens. Anything recorded with it will be unable to ever use. Also a lens hood will not fit with this attached

This is a really helpful product, easy on/easy off, and I LOVE the variable density. My only qualm, and it's more about my camera and filter setup than about this particular unit -- vignetting at widest angle. I have a Sony RX10 IV and the 72mm version is a perfect fit. However when I zoom out (wide angle) to the extreme 24mm there are distinct black corners. Doesn't make the image(s) unusable, but something to be aware of. If I zoom in to 33 mm the problem disappears. No biggie, but something to be aware of when cropping/formatting.

Works great and it's exactly what I needed. Great build quality, excellent packaging,, the filter threaded on smoothly, the ring spins smoothly and I was able to drop my exposure for my videos.

To start of this filter is one of the best I've ever purchased. I personaly use it for the Canon EOS M50 but it's ability to easily screw on makes it compatable with tons of different lense types. This filter is great at reducing glare and makes it very easy to adjust the brightness of photos without compromising picture quality. The fact that it comes with it's own lense cap is just the cherry on top because most other neutral density filters dont come with one and if you didn't have one prior, then you wouldn't be able to use it. This lense is a great value for money and it's functionality and versatality makes it a must have for all types of photography. Overall, Neewer is a great company and this filter is just great and I would love to review more of their products in the future.

I used this for my canon Vixia HF G50 camcorder and it’s a great value ND filter. I exclusively use Neewer ND filters because I can rely on their excellent build quality.

As a beginner photographer, I did alot of researching and youtubing for my new filter lens to give my outdoor landscape photography a little bit of pazzazz. The fit was on point with My Canon EOS T4i at 58mm. The quality of the lens feels like it was made for my camera, so no hesitations about that. The value for my money's worth is great. Couldn't have made a better purchase for my new hobby.

I love the hard stops but many times it would accidentally fall if I am not very careful I wish there was some sort of little safety lock, but it still work great and good quality .

£87 at time of reviewAs I already own several magnetic filters I can attest to their usefulness but also some drawbacks. When I’m using really high F stop ND’s being able to frame my shot, set my focus then drop on the filter without messing my focus is really useful for those long exposure shots etc. But there’s also drawbacks, none of the magnetic filters I have come with a front thread for lens caps etc so in-between shots or when you’re moving around you need to unscrew the magnetic filter or have a magnetic lens cap (which I have), which is fine for walking around, but if you place your camera back in your bag it’s easy to knock the lens cap off.Anyway, back to this filter, in use this works really well, quality is very good, I have other neweer filters and they’ve always given good results. Yes it may seem a little pricey, but you get what you pay for and it is good quality (I’ve filters that cost £300 plus), yes you can buy cheaper filters, and sometimes that’s the atheistic you’re after, but why ruin a great shot with bad glass if it’s not the look you wantHope my review was helpful
