Audio quality is great, and much better than needed for HF SSB radio operations. My radio uses a dynamic mic and with the Neewer NW-700, I needed a Phantom power supply. I am using the Depusheng DS48V. The cable which comes with the mic is used to connect the phantom unit to the radio's 3.5mm plug. The phantom unit come with a cable to connect the mic to the unit. I also added a mic arm boom and a foot switch. I love it. $13 mic + $15 phantom unit + $20 boom arm .

I’m very technical. First thing I did is remove the internal foam filter. Then I connected the Microphone to the MOUKEY 48v phantom power. I ran it on my zoom digital recorder. All I can say is WOW! It sounds fantastic. I do work with sound systems. The quality of the microphone is first class and well-made. I’m playing with the internal filter and will report on the results. I’m also going to do a review on the MOUKEY 48v phantom power unit. For the entry-level podcaster, vlogger and broadcaster with limited funds this is where I would start with this microphone. I will miss these Chinese bargains and great technology for the money when China attacks Taiwan. Communists are not very smart and do not understand capitalism. Am I right, Jeff?

Well, the value on this thing is great. I picked it up on a curiosity at $12. Surprised that it comes with the mic itself, a shock mount and some other unorthodox equipment (like an XLR to 3-poll 3.5mm jack). This thing requires phantom power to operate, otherwise you won't get much of any sound out of it. I've tried it with my Focusrite 2i2 as well as the Saramonic SmartRig II and it works well with both. It's not the most deep and rich mic I've ever heard, but you can easily boost some of that with your recording/broadcasting software to make up for some of that. The cable that comes in the box is a bit strange. It's XLR to 3-pole headphone jack. Means it will work for computer sound card input, but won't work properly for many cell phones. Maybe bundled for voiceover work at your workstation?I don't have much else to say. The build quality isn't bad. It's not built like a Shure SM58, but doesn't feel fragile either. Perfectly adequate

This mic is so inexpensive it is suspicious... I bought it partly out of curiosity, in fact. It actually works really well; good sound with quite low noise. The supplied suspension rig is fine; the cable bundled with it is an xlr to mini jack, which suggests it can run into a PC sound card. This will not work with normal PCs or laptops; the mic needs 48v phantom power. I run mine into a Behringer mixer, which works perfectly. Neewer sell a suitable power supply for about £15.If you're looking for a low priced condenser mic, look no further!

Excellent condenser mic. We use it mounted to a boom mic stand for our choir. Great clarity and wide pattern. We previously tried recording the choir with one of our excellent Shure SM58s but it was very directional and result was a recording of mostly one choir members voice. This got all of them and now I’m buying a sevond one. Our mixer does allow us to turn on 48v phantom power so that’s important. But it’s terrific. Want to see more products from this brand (Neewer).Update: I made one mistake that my contractor resolved: condenser mics have a front “listening” side, and a back “non-listening side. Be certain to expose the listening side to your source of vocal sound. Turns out that the ”listening” sidebof this much is the one with the printed name on it. So, we mounted the mic vertically (as in third pic below) this time enduring the printed label faced the people who were singing. Duh, I guess, but now I know! Also, did buy a second one. Both connected on separate channels on our mixer. Turns out that when the choir was finished with their singing, a tidy person lifted both mics and put them in a corner together 1 foot apart. Guess What!! Major Feedback!! Tell your helpfulntudy choir folks not to touch the merchandise, or, at least have them signal to you to MUTE those channels. I’ll take the wrap.

Maybe it's just my setup, but this microphone is complete garbage for what I need. If you're looking for a white noise recorder, this is the mic for you. If you actually need to record voice-over or wish to have audio communication other than your onboard microphone, I beg you to find another product.First of all, the housing on this microphone is shoddy and unreliable. I opened the box and the mesh cover over the receiver was half-popped off. The XLR plug at the bottom was bent out of place. The XLR-to-3.5mm cable included with the mic is also really cheap. The 3.5mm end was really loose, and I had to tighten the screws holding it on.Once I fixed the plug and was actually able to plug it in to my computer, I found out that it's nearly impossible to hear anything but white noise, unless you boost the input by 200% (the max on any common onboard sound card). Even then, it's still really faint. I ended up using a third-party sound software to further boost the audio pickup, and I set up a noise gate to (partially) cut out the white noise. At first I thought maybe the terrible sound quality was just from the cable. Any decent condenser mic will need phantom power to properly work. We plugged it into a Yamaha sound board, XLR input, with phantom power. That slightly cut down on the amount of white noise being transmitted, but it was still almost impossible to hear anything else that the mic picked up.I guess this is what I get for paying $25 for a microphone. When it comes to audio equipment, definitely don't skimp on quality vs. price. If you need something on a tight budget, there are still many great choices for under $50. This microphone is NOT one of them. The extra $10 will make a world of difference.

I just picked this from Tanotis/Amazon. I connect it through M-Audio M-Track Plus audio interface to Garageband of Macbook Air. I am a musician and have my own home based studio. I use this microphone for vocals and to take the sounds of Tabla and other accuastic instruments. Its just superb. Its very powerful and works only with phantom power. I have completed a few tracks and am almost ready to launch them. Well, people who have listened to my final products are just mesmerised with the quality of sound take. Its very difficult to distinguish between the commercial studio sound takes and this. Only one needs to have the right kind of settings and atmosphere and you are ready to go. This was the cheapest condenser microphone available online at Rs. 3319 and was just launched. Interestingly from the moment i completed my order, amazon began to show out of stock. But I got my order and am very much satisfied with the product.Tanotis retailor should note: Since it needs phantom power, an XLR male/female cord must be provided in the pack. The XLR with 1/8 cord which the company provides can be used with computer directly but XLR male/female cord can put this device to maximum use with proper phantom power supply. This is the cheapest condenser microphone in the country. If you are a musician go for it and explore this device.

First of all, it's good to note that this microphone requires phantom 48v power, although the original cable that was xlr to 3.5mm jack worked perfectly fine when I plugged it into my pc microphone port. But it tended to be quiet so I bought the additional phantom power and that improved the overall quality massively which meant my mouth didn't have to sit so close when using the mic. Of course for £20 it's not the best mic out there but it is really awesome for beginners like myself.I bought this mic for my YouTube channel you can check out the quality in some of my videos. My channel name 'Shotrab'

Ich nutze es mit dem Xenyx302 funktioniert super.Und zur Information: es funktioniert nicht mit dem mitgeliefertem Kabel wenn ihr es direkt an den PC/Laptop anschließt denn es benötigt Phantom Speisung.
