342 / 5,000I'm very disappointed. I used the ruler on two projects measuring buel prints, and it worked very well for six months. Upon reusing it, I realized I felt three jumps and it was hard to move the ruler. I realized they were some very small screws that had come loose. Every time I try to measure, I hit the screws that hold the ruler in place.

High quality. Ease of use. And Ingenuity. There’s a practical use for this digital ruler. I bought this for drafting/layout for hvac fittings. It’s more for engineer work. I.e. reading and designing prints. I have no complaints. It works as advertised.

This ruler is geared towards professionals using scaled technical drawings. I'm not one of those people. I'm more of a geek that like gadgets. And this one scratches my itch in that sense.I've got this for hobby use. Last weekend, I've used it while doing woodworking. I've had plans that I got from internet. It had most dimensions properly, but of course not every dimension was printed since some can be calculated with others. But with this ruler, you don't have to do that. Once I set the scale right, I can confirm all the dimensions. I've even used corner distance to confirm the piece was square. It definitely sped up dimension checks. However, there's a gap for pointer to slide across. I've tried my best to protect it from wood dust, I don't think it'll be using it again near a tablesaw.I found it more useful for paper crafts. The division function is pretty good. It's accurate to mm, which might be problem for smaller measurements. In that case scale function might be better.For dividing with precision, I mark rough locations with included function. Then I scale with the longest edge with real measurement of 12cm for 12 division. Move to slider to 1,2,3 etc and mark at better accuracy. Much faster than using a calculator.Overall, it's expensive but very practical if you can affort it.

It saves so much time compared to using a manual scaled ruler. The BEST feature though, is the custom scale! We have customers who send us screen shots of floorplans, and we would spend so much time trying to scale them. This ruler does the job! Love it!

Purchased the ruler from Amazon and really like it. High quality and accurate, product is as good as advertised. Purchased the calipers direct from manufacture and have never been able to get them installed on the ruler where they work smoothly. Very hard to install and not worth the effort. If I had to do it all over, I would not make either of the purchases because of the calipers.

The accuracy appears to be good but the indexing of the default cursor needs to be more definitive. Something similar to the hair-line cursor of a slide rule would improve it substantially. The magnifier cursor resolves this problem. I also found that adding one SMALL drop of a liquid Teflon lubricant to the slides in the main body improved the functionality of the device quite a bit.
