Purchased the oil to use in our indoor lamps, and it works perfectly. We have virtually no smoke and smells great in the house. When burning oil lamps whether outside or inside you will get some smoke, whether a lot or a little, you will have it. This oil will produce some smoke when burning, what matters in my opinion is 'how much'. I completely recommend this oil, the smoke is minimal and the smell is great, either inside or out. What some need to understand is there is no such thing as 'smokeless' oil , whether natural or petroleum based; even olive oil smokes.

I like that it’s smokeless and doesn’t have a strong smell. It was a little more expensive but worth the money.

It's oil. You light it on fire. Hopefully inside of a lamp. This one smells pleasant, and keeps away bugs. Sort of. For the bug-repellent aspect to really be effective, you'll need a few lamps in close proximity.

First off the shipping on this was fast, which worked out well since I needed this refill for an outdoor barbecue I had last weekend. Regarding the product itself, since I had multiple torches going I wanted a lamp oil that wasn't going to overpower the area with a heavy scent, and this definitely fit the bill. There was almost no scent, and none of the guests even noticed they were there (except for the nice tiki torch ambiance :-) ). Also since this was an outdoor event I wanted an oil that included mosquito repellent, and this product worked really well. We still noticed a few mosquitos, but no bug deterrent is perfect, and this dramatically cut down on the number of bugs. So I can recommend this product if you need Citronella that include bug repellent.

It works very well, and most importantly it doesn't have the smell like most citronella products have! I will definitely use it again !
