1989 Jeep Cherokee 4.0L sport 2door 4X4 Auto Trans. Original neutral safety switch only had one problem no back up lights for 10 years now. all other things working started in park or neutral, Drive - low 3 - and Low 1-2 all working. after replacing Neutral Safety Switch Low 1&2 granny slow stopped working. Is this the correct part for my Jeep? Yes but it was defective. After receiving replacement I checked all pin outs at the connector before installing see wiring diagram. Installed 2nd part and everything was working correctly. on the first Switch I installed continuity from pins A & H not working for Low 1-2. Nothing more frustrating than having to fix the car twice because of a bad part. On a Good note installed a brighter LED light on the tow hitch, now back up lights really light the rear.

On my jeep it installed easy other than running the plug up between the transmission and fire wall. Works like it should. Great price compared to auto stores.
