I love this new, tempered glass chair mat. It replaced a Polyurethane mat. The old mat I had did not lay flat and the wheels on the chair created depressions in the mat and the chair was hard to roll around. The new mat is smooth and does not allow depressions. It has a weight limit of 1000 lbs. My only issue is that it is so smooth that when I sit down on the office chair, it rolls smoothly off the mat and onto the carpet. It would be nice to have a lip around the outside, but I don't think that would be possible with tempered glass. I'll probably get used to it eventually. Otherwise, I love it!

Packaging was delivered by UPS with an open top, damage to the carton, and the glass was cosmetically damaged (scratched) in one area. The UPS guy ran off before I could refuse shipment.Also, the corners on the product are not as rounded as the marketing photos show. Otherwise, the glass still has integrity sturdy, chair rolls comfortably.

The only criticism of this item is that it is clear glass, which means pet hair and dust which makes its way underneath or on top of this thing makes it look dirty all the time, especially if placed over a dark hardwood floor.But if you don't mind cleaning it occasionally, this is a superior product to make your home office more comfortable, the chair slides easily, and product is big enough so that you don't slip a wheel off the back or side too often. It has been durable, no chips or other damage.

I ordered this product and it showed up damaged. One of the corners was chipped and the clear pads that are supposed to help eliminate movement were not in the packaging. I contacted customer support and received no response. Will be returning this. The mat looked nice, but when you get left high and dry, its not worth supporting the company.

We have a small townhome that we will one day rent. Our upstairs is carpeted and we want to keep it that way for safety and noise control. In the office, we have a desk and a Peloton bike. I wasn't riding much because it grosses me out to have exercise equipment on the carpet, plus the stability was kind of off. We also have a large office chair that was very cumbersome to move around on the floor due to the carpet.Have a similar problem? Look no further!! This Glass Mat has solved all of our issues. We purchased 2 and now the Peleton is sturdy and not icky to ride and our office chair is moveable! Funny how slight adjustments make your life so much easier!! BUY THIS!

After years of using the older plastic chair mats that eventually start breaking, this NeuType Glass Chair Mat, Tempered Glass Office Chair Mat is the ticket to easy rolling! I purchased the (36" x 46" x 1/4", Transparent) at a super price, just happened to look at it when it dropped 6% to $89.99.The size is more than adequate to maneuver from side to side and back and forth in front of my desk with the computer in front of me. My desk is "L" shaped and I can easily turn and scoot to face the L with plenty of mat room to move around. We just had new carpet installed and my chair was bogging down trying to move in the chair, now it is just a Smooth Ride!
