My neighbor had 2 very annoying Chihuahuas that would bark at me every time I would be in my back yard. It significantly decreased our enjoyment of being able to be in our backyard. I felt helpless and the neighbor didn't care. I bought this amazing tool to take back peace and quiet in my own backyard. I could keep it concealed in my pocket and activate it towards the direction of the 2 dogs 30 ft away and it silenced them. After about 2 weeks of consistent use the dogs stopped barking at us anytime we were in the backyard. If you have the same problem we did, then you need to purchase this bark stopper. Battery life was great between charges.

I got 5 yip yappers that love to bark. We started using this with a code word Shutup 2 times before we use it. It worked . Now we are to the point that word shutup works. One deal though the ultrasound kinda freaks em out .

BUY IT!! We have an 8 month old mini schnauzer who loves to bark....at anything. So we've trained her well with this little thing. It's been a lifesaver and I love that it's rechargeable. I keep one in my vehicle and one in the house. Also love that a collar is NOT required for it to work. Works like a charm!!

EDIT: the device worked GREAT for about a week and a half, and then it just - doesn’t. I would assume that the dog just realizes that the noise is nothing to be concerned about, but there is no reaction from her anymore, not even an ear twitch. The cat also doesn’t react now (previously, he would give me side-eye and then leave the room).It’s only been a few days, but there’s a noticeable improvement in my GSD’s reactivity and barking (especially at EVERY animal on the television). While she still barks when she sees them, she immediately stops and looks at me when I say “stop”. Previously, that didn’t happen.Watch the recommended videos for training tips. They’re helpful.Battery life so far is great. The unit is thicker than a tv remote, and about 4” long, easy to handle. For the price, so far, it’s well worth it.

It doesn’t seems to work on my dogs so not sure item faulty or just doesn’t work. Got a card mentioning can get a bark collar, code link doesn’t work so don’t know what is the point of giving us a link but of no use. I have tried email them and no reply at all. So disappointed. I thought I am getting something from a reputable company but I think I am wrong. I still hope someone can get back to me. Let’s see how.

Got this to train my dog. It worked on him for a couple of days when correcting bad behaviour then he chose to ignore it and would just get agressive if I used it.

Si funciona, tenemos 2 shitsu y lo utilizamos mu pocos días y ya no ladran tan seguido dentro de la casa . Me falta entrenar en exterior cuando interactúan con perros en el parque. Creo que es cuestión de usarlo afuera y entenderán las mascotas. Lo recomiendo

I can't stress the importance of showing your dog the device before you press it. The sound makes my dog bark from agitation, but remember, agitation is the negative stimulus. When he sees the device now, he reluctantly stops barking after 1 day of consistent reinforcement. We hope that after a couple more days, he will associate the 'hush' command with the device. Be sure to praise the dog and maybe give them a treat when they obey your 'hush' command.

*Edit - they're trying to buy off my bad review. After I posted this, I got an email asking me to delete my negative review for $50. That's pretty sketchy to me, so I'm dropping another star.Original review:We live in a very open neighborhood where people are ALWAYS outside and walking. We have a German Shephard that is EXTREMELY impulsive. Because of HOA requirements, fencing our yard is *VERY* expensive. Consequently, until we can build a proper fence, we installed an underground containment system and we walk our dog under close supervision. The fence is a decent enough deterrent and he usually stops on command, but if he sees another dog or someone he REALLY doesn't like, it takes a bit of effort to get him to respond.I purchased this sonic deterrent to assist with training and walking him. I followed the training guides and it worked like a charm. Initially it was a very useful tool and offered an extra level of comfort/security in keeping our dog under control.Four months later... I have noticed that neither of our dogs respond to this sonic deterrent. Showing them the device and issuing a verbal warning does more to deter them than pressing the ultra-sonic button. The same is true for the audible button. They respond to it better than they do the ultra-sonic sound. I'm not qualified to say whether or not the device is functioning properly or if this is the expected behavior of my dog after being trained by the device. I can only speak to its effectiveness now in controlling impulse vs. the first couple of months using it. It simply is not as effective now for some reason - if at all.I would give this device 2 1/2 stars if that were available. As it were, I can't rate it a 3, so 2 stars it is.

I have two Mini Aussies, and both would go NUTS when the doorbell rang and guests came over. Their behavior got so bad that the barking and chaos would continue long after my guests entered the house. I couldn't focus on attending to my guests and instead would need to focus on calming my dogs down. It was uncomfortable and embarrassing.Mind you, I've tried positive reinforcement training, vibrating collars and even a shock collar. None of them had any effect on the dogs. Insert this device. I've used it three times so far and it's made a HUGE difference in my house! One dog caught on immediately to stop barking. Unfortunately, he's scared of the noise, but I would rather have him hide on a dog bed than run around barking like a maniac. The other dog hasn't quite figured it out yet, but his barking and bad behavior have reduced significantly. I can actually attend to my guests within a couple minutes of them entering my house! I'm hopeful that I won't need to use this device much in the future. The ultimate goal will be to just point the device at my dogs without actually pressing the button, and they'll get the hint to be quiet! Very promising so far!

I have an 18 month old Coton de Tulear who thinks she is a ferocious German Shepherd - she barks very loudly and persistently! Sometimes continuing 10-15 minutes after someone has actually walked past our house. Nothing I've tried has had any impact on our little terror to get her to quiet down - UNTIL NOW!! The Stopwoofer worked first time I used it - it was almost instant. She stopped barking straight away and she now checks to see if it's in my hand before she even starts barking again. It really is a fantastic little piece of equipment. THANK YOU Subwoofer!
