We are the original owners of our 2007 CRV and we’ve never had to replace the alternator but at 17 years old it’s got to be near the end of its life. This inexpensive, new (not remanufactured) replacement alternator looks to be very high quality, nice smooth castings, perfect looking copper windings, and the bearings are smooth as silk. Planning to do installation this spring when the weather warms up a bit but I might actually wait until the old one finally bites the dust, dad used to say “If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it”.

The alternator is a perfect fit for our older Element and is at a much nicer price point than local mechanics had quoted. It is performing flawlessly. I would say this is a great value. It came packaged well, and quickly.

This alternator was a precise fit for my 2010 Honda CRV. Has been working well now for a couple of weeks after installation.
