Ordered this to replace on my daughter's vehicle. It works fine, but her mechanic wasn't happy that a piece was bent and unusable. He was able to use the same piece from the old alternator with no compromise in functionality. The time spent returning and replacing with no guarantee that the same piece wouldn't be bent again wasn't feasible. As far as lasting, time will tell.
