I purchased a bunch of these years ago. Just got these through Amazon. Exact same model number as the ones I purchased years ago. the metal thickness is almost half the thickness as the ones I've purchased in the past. Sure, they will probably handle 400 lbs, but that is a shear static load, with no side forces. I wouldn't load these up with 400 lbs with out extra cross bracing. Won't be buying again...
