I purchased this item to replace a bad starter solenoid inside the protective control box on an M923A1 military surplus 5 ton truck. I couldn't find an exact replacement part, but this one works perfectly after removing the mounting flange on the bottom side (the one I'm replacing just had a curved base with no mounting flanges, and had been spot welded in place rather than being bolted in).
