I purchased a couple of lobster crackers from Walmart for a seafood boil celebrating my daughter's birthday. I wanted more, and was elated to see this set being offered through Amazon Vine.The lobster crackers were heavier than I thought they would be and have a beautiful detail on the outer edges. They are sturdy and make a lovely set.I gave the set a four star rating because there are no tension springs like my pair from Walmart, nor are there cushion grips on the handles. I like both those features and wish these had them; however, these do look more elegant.

I initially ordered these believing this was only one crab cracker. To my pleasant surprise, I actually found 6. They’re a nice quality with good metal and a sturdy weight to them. Unfortunately, one came broken, and the other piece to fasten to two together was nowhere to be found. Still 5/6 for that price is unbeatable.I can’t wait to try these out when I get down with a seafood boil this weekend.

They worked on snow crab legs, but the quality isn't great. While the design on the handles look elegant and they feel nice and hefty, the chrome finish has some bubbles and rough spots in the handles that might lead to corrosion over time. The arms don't align properly when closed, and there's a bit of wobble, but not significantly off. I will have to update how well they hold up with lobster claws and crabs.

These claw breakers don't feel very high quality. The finish is nice, and they do feel heavy, but that's pretty much where the positives end. The hinges are very loose, the handle section is very slippery, and the grip serration inside isn't sharp enough and doesn't hold well when cracking things open. The hinges actually feel very poorly made and I doubt they will hold up for extended use.

What can I say, these work perfectly to crack open any nut or shellfish. There are small and large openings and a closed end for the smaller items need to be cracked. Pack of 6 so you will have them when you need them. Highly recommend!!!

Well designed and sleek looking set of nut crackers or seafood crackers. The set includes 6 silver crackers, perfect for dinner parties or for our charcuterie boards. I was able to easily use this tool with my non-dominant hand, applying just a small amount of pressure.
