It was difficult to do by myself, with a second person it still would have been difficult because then you need to coordinate where you are both placing it. It is important to follow the instructions and best done in the sun with the glass freshly wiped down as well as wiping down the cling side of the material. Also pay attention to the tag which indicates it goes to the back. After multiple tries to align it, I got it very close. At a glance it looks fine, but the bit off bothers me, even though most wouldn't notice. The important thing is of course it does a great job once in place. I purposely checked the inside temp before and it was 110 degrees. After I was done it was 100 degrees. This of course will be most handy if you are sitting at a standstill either in traffic or waiting for someone at the Dr.'s office etc. That is the only time I've had an issue with the glass while in the car. Obviously if you park outside frequently, this will also be very helpful. I'm leaving it place. Probably 4 stars with 2 people doing it.

Nice tech innovation of such no clip needed roof shade. But it is hard to install and keep it cling to the roof. The smell of product is intolerable and raises health concerns.

I don't know why this product has low stars review , this is the best in my opinion for Tesla model 3 and Y , if you want to cover the glass roof , its norlt that easy to put it on and off bit the result is matter for me , its fits really well and istallation for model 3 can be done by 1 person easy, and for model Y better two persons since the model Y only have 1 big piece cover almost the whole glass roof , just need to be handy to install this , watch youtube video will help

I was hoping for this to work, since I don’t like the other style glass covers that use plastic clips. The clips tend to rattle after a while.I opened the box and the first thing I saw was a ton of spider webs inside of the rolled up shades.Not the first time I’ve received something with a little extra inside.Luckily this time everything was already dead.After some cleaning I went and installed the shades to came across the next disappointment.The front shade is about an inch too long. From the front of the glass to the back is exactly 26 inches. The shade measures just under 27 inches.The problem with that is, if something is supposed to cling to the glass it needs to sit 100% flush.In this case I had excess material bulging up on the front or the back edge.Surprisingly the material stuck to the glass ok.But it just didn’t look nice with the edges not aligned.Then I went ahead to install the rear shade. That one fit pretty well. But I found multiple stains on the fabric.Not sure if this was some spots the spider had left or if it’s from something else but they were small black dots.If the measurements were correct and the product arrived clean, this could be a winner.But I’m not comfortable driving with a shade that could fall down because the fitment is correct.I don’t know why the measurements are off.It could be that they’re trying to make this product fit for model years it wasn’t designed for. I’m not sure if there were any changes made to the roof design. But my model was listed by the seller and it doesn’t fit.The sun protection would be great! Also no real loss of headroom is nice, some of the other shades have about an inch of air between the shade and the glass.Installation is a little trickier than the ones with the clip. Getting everything lined up and working out any bubbles takes some time.But the actual material seems to stick well when instructions are followed.In direct sunlight the shade feels warm to the touch, but there’s definitely less heat.Again maybe it just doesn’t fit my 2022 model, but they listed 2020-2024.

installed myself with no help. took awhile but not that hard. the squeegee tool is key. The unexpected benefit - I honestly think it's helped make highway cruising quieter. Reduces heat when parked in the sun and totally looks like OEM.

This sunshade adheres to the glass roof, so there is no sag. This is especially good for the back seat of a Model 3, where 6 footers find their head/hair contacts the sunshades that do not adhere to the glass. The fit is not perfect over the front seats of my 2021 Model 3 because the shade is a bit too large. But the shade sticks well enough to look fine. Consider using some adhesion promoter around the edges. And installation is a bit challenging for a single person with only two hands. Overall, very satisfied.
