This is much better than my original controller for my TV however it does have its issues. The Left Right scroll button does not always work correctly. I use mine within 8 ft of my TV and I have no problems turning on and off my TV. It does not always like the Amazon button. But they replaced it immediately when I said I was having issues so that is a big plus. It is thicker which I appreciate and the batteries do not fall out like the other controller I had did

The previous remote I had was damaged by nail polish remover that closed up the battery compartment, so it was close for good and then finally the battery ran out that was making it hard to press. A light bulb moment came when I said to myself, look on Amazon (since all remotes work alike) and see if you will find one, and Walla! Guess what? I got it the same day. I have had my Vizio tvs for a while, it might be going on twenty years living in this apartment. I had bought them from Costco! I don't have cable anymore and they work perfectly. Love the remote. My hands don't strain anymore from having to press so hard.
