I don’t have a sandbox, but I do have a bunch of toys on my patio for kids to come play with, and I’m using the cover to protect the toys from wind and rain and sun. The cover fits well over the children’s tent that the toys are in.

This cover is thick and weatherproof! You don't even need the hooks to hold this thing in place. I am so happy to finally have a clean, dry sandbox for my daughter to play in!

It's still too cold to go outside and put this cover to the test but I'm very happy to see the short bands with hooks on each end to hold this cover down. Last year I got a black cover and to keep it down from wind I devised sandbags to hold it. Well, dummy me--big problem in that when it rained the water went around the sandbags and pooled up looking like a lake. These hooks will be a game changer. Hopefully by being able to pull it taught I will also avoid the common issue with other covers of rainwater pooling to the middle. I even bought big inflatable balls (huge) to go under the cover and allow the rain to run off but even that didn't work as these octagon sandboxes are enormous. I like the lighter color, but it may show green growth of algae and such. The material seems rip proof and puncture proof. I'm excited to use it.

This is a very nice sandbox cover. It is easy to assemble, and the wood is a great thickness that keeps the cover from blowing away. It is a great price and super soft. Keeps the box nice and clean. Very happy with it.

High quality sandbox cover that has a better fit than what the sandbox kits come with. There are handles and hooks to secure it to the ground if you already have some stakes like tent stakes, although that is not necessary in my opinion due to the snug fit.
