What is a Ball Joint?
- A ball joint is usually a ball-in socket design, lubricated with grease and covered with a dust boot
- Ball joints are the critical component of the suspension that connect various links and allow them to move
What do Ball Joints Consist of?
- Ball joints consist of a metal housing and stud
- The stud can swing and rotate within the housing
- The socket is filled with grease to provide lubrication, keep debris and water out of the socket, and maintain noise free operation
Symptoms of Worn Ball Joints
- Worn ball joints contribute to looseness in the suspension
- The driver may notice steering looseness, steering vibration, or unusual noises but it often causes other problems before it may be noticeable to the driver
- A worn ball joint is not a problem that should be ignored. If the wear becomes severe, the stud may separate from the housing resulting in immediate loss of control of your vehicle which puts you in great danger

Le ball joint se veut d'être swivel/articulé, sauf qu' il est fixe ! :(. Il s'agit pas comme une rotule. C'est comme si la partie qui rentre press fit dans la table de suspension et le plus petit diamètre qui lui s'installe dans la pièce où se loge le cardan ne font qu' un. Aucune articulation n' est possible. L'ensemble du ball joint est rigide :(.Je suis très déçu d'avoir fait affaire avec Amazon pour cette article. Car je ne peux réparer mon véhicule. Perte de temps et de jouissance de mon VTT.Veuillez régulariser la situation rapidement en commençant par me rembourser cet article.

Factory fit for 300 Arctic Cat. This product has split ring retainer for boot. I did not think I would like that, but it seems to hold securely enough. If you want snap rings save them from your oem set.
